Community Resources

I believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. If my practice isn't the right financial fit, my caseload is currently full, or you're simply looking for additional options, I hope the resources below help you find the support you deserve.

Emergency & Crisis Support

If you or someone you know is in immediate emotional distress or experiencing a mental health crisis, please use one of the following resources:

  • Call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Crisis Text Line

  • Text HOME to 741741 to receive free, confidential support from a trained crisis counselor.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline

  • Call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or text START to 88788 for confidential support, safety planning, and local resources.

  • Veterans Crisis Line--Veterans, active-duty service members, and their loved ones can call or text 988, then press 1, text 838255, or visit VeteransCrisisLine.net/Chat for free, confidential support 24/7.

Reduced-Fee & Community Resources

If you're looking for counseling services or need help finding a therapist within your budget, the following resources may be helpful:

Open Path Collective – A nonprofit network that connects individuals and families with licensed therapists who offer reduced-fee counseling. One-time lifetime membership fee of $65, with therapy sessions typically ranging from $40–$70 for individual therapy and $40–$80 for couples or family therapy.

Talk with Your Primary Care Physician or Gynecologist – Your healthcare provider can often recommend trusted mental health professionals and connect you with local mental health resources.

Your Local Community Service Board (CSB) – Community Service Boards provide affordable, sliding-scale, and, in some cases, no-cost mental health services based on financial eligibility.

Psychology Today Therapist Directory – Search for licensed therapists by location, specialty, insurance accepted, and areas of expertise. Reading therapist profiles can help you find someone who feels like the right fit for your needs.
